An Open Letter
Dear Mark Driscoll,
I want to start this by saying I don’t know who you are. I see one liner quotes that supposedly belong to you retweeted/posted/quoted by my friends. It is quite annoying.
I googled you and I couldn’t find any information pertaining to Jesus… I just found a lot of web pages with your name followed by words that end in -ology.
I don’t know what to tell you other than you are clearly affecting some of my friends that believe in Christ. My friends have received Christ but they put your words to the world. And the world doesn’t need Mark Driscoll; we need Jesus.
I hope to one day meet you Mark Driscoll. And maybe we could talk about Christ (not that -ology stuff…). I know if it wasn’t for Christ, my body would be somewhere in a desert where the I10 and the I8 meet… But that story will be for another time. I would like to know; Where is Christ in your life?
